About Me
I love working with my hands and my mind, designing, building things and completing restoration projects. Since 2015 I have worked as a general contractor completing a wide variety of projects which as given me a lot of experience. From kitchen to bathroom remodeling to structural dry rot restoration to craftsmen front porch steps I've seen and done a lot. My gallery will give you a good idea of the kind of projects I've completed.
I have a degree in drafting and CAD and I have worked in manufacturing doing engineering drawings, design and prototyping, industrial graphic design, project management, quality control and more.
I have created custom fitted, hand crafted and professionally built Greenland skin-on-frame kayaks and led kayak building classes for customers around the world.
I have done facility maintenance and special projects at a large Zen monastery.
My many years of Buddhist monastic training, including
3 1/2 years in cloistered meditation retreats, further facilitate my ability to offer the gentle kindness Buddhist monks are renowned for while doing superb quality work on your home projects and repairs.
